Our Place Peel is a non-profit charitable organization that is focused on providing shelter and outreach programs for homeless and disadvantaged youth in the Region of Peel.

Our Place Peel is searching for an organized and highly motivated Administrative Coordinator to join our team to manage and support all the organization's administrative functions.

The **_HR/Office Administrator_** will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to Our Place Peel to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations are run in a timely and efficient manner.

**PRIMARY FOCUS**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Assist and provide clerical and administrative support to the CEO, Management Team and Board of Directors.
- Coordinate and support all facets of Human Resources including employee and labour relations, performance management, recruitment, policy compliance, healthcare and benefits administration, etc.
- Support with the recruitment process as part of the overall recruitment strategy
- Maintain employment records and documentation for all employees, students and volunteers and ensure compliance.
- Update and maintain information and generate reports as required using HRIS in support of management requests.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner, upholding a strict level of confidentiality.
- Oversee and manage purchasing of PPE, office orders and memberships to ensure proper inventory is maintained.
- Coordinate team meetings, including coordination, scheduling and preparing meeting minutes. Prepare reports, agency memos, presentations and all other documents as required.
- Support and arrange monthly Board meetings, including scheduling, preparing a draft of agendas and minutes, creating presentations, distributing material and maintaining files and reports as necessary.
- Coordinate the agency’s annual general meeting, public meetings and agency-wide fundraising and awareness events.
- Prepare, update and maintain manuals, documents and policies as required.
- Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT and HR contracts.
- Support, research and prepare information for grant proposals and RFP’s.
- Support social media strategy as required.
- All other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Post-secondary Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Experience in administrative, business management and HR functions an asset.
- Experience working in a related capacity, preferably in a not-for-profit organization.
- Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Criminal Reference Check.
- Valid “G” driver’s license, insurable at acceptable rates.
