**Enterprise Canada is hiring an IT Professional**

**Position: IT**

**Location: Toronto**

We’re looking for an experienced information technology person to join our team.

**Enterprise Canada** is a national strategic communications firm. With offices across the country, we bring together an experienced team with backgrounds in government relations, corporate communications, public relations, journalism, issues management and marketing. We work in both official languages and deliver communications advice and services to clients in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors. Enterprise Canada’s integrated service offering includes **Creative Currency**, its wholly owned advertising agency and content studio.

**Overall Responsibilities**:

- Working in collaboration with our external I.T provider to ensure that our I.T system and process is well designed and safe at all times
- Responsible for managing the Enterprise Canada /Creative Currency technology infrastructure.
- Providing technical support to employees.
- Managing hardware requirements and tracking hardware, managing software requirement and licenses.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems to enable productive working environment.
- Managing and troubleshooting the company’s online SharePoint portal and updating it consistently.
- Responsible for the purchasing new hardware and software and deploying them for new users.
- Ensuring that the company has adequate Cybersecurity measures in place at all times to protect its data, users and overall IT environment.

**Requirements**:

- A strong background in IT and a deep understanding of various technologies and systems including Microsoft office and all the associated programs (ie. SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills
- An ability to analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Experience in managing IT projects, such as software upgrades, system migrations, or infrastructure deployments. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools can be advantageous.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and how to effectively implement them in a consulting/ business setting.
- Providing excellent customer service and support to internal users.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of the Apple Mac Operating System and Windows OS.
