The role of the District Sales Manager (DSM) is to actively participate as a member of the division's leadership team, to ensure good customer relations, while helping lead commercial efforts. This includes active participation to ensure the delivery of high-quality material, produced safely and profitably and profitable in the market through commercial efforts. The DSM will work with the division to provide long-term strategic planning and focus on achieving short and long-term results. The DSM will have to personally demonstrate that they act according to the values that make up Nucor's Culture. The DSM can be located out of our Montreal, QC office or Ancaster, ON office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safety is our priority at Nucor; applicants will, therefore, need to be able to demonstrate their ability to initiate, lead and comply with safety policies, practices, procedures and standards at all times
- Create and maintain good relations with our customers
- Work with the division to create and execute a business strategy for our product group and for the company
- Help create and achieve all the sales objectives
- Provide state-of-the-art service by developing relationships in all areas of our business and finding new strategic sales opportunities
- Submit accurate forecasts and solve problems

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be bilingual in French(Quebec territory) and English(Ontario territory)
- Experience in sales in the steel grating industry and/or in the manufacturing market
- Be willing and able to travel
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Experience in the steel construction and manufacturing industry
