**Responsibilities of Operations and Community Manager, Canada**

The Operations and Community Manager, Canada is a representative of Joblio’s Applicant Concierge Experience program and reports to Joblio’s Community Management Director, Esther Katz.

**General**

The OCM is responsible for managing the orientation of foreign workers into Greater Toronto, Canada who have been hired by Canadian company clients of Joblio.

**Pre-Arrival of Workers into Canada**
- Actively participate in Whatsapp Chat or other platform, created for the group of workers: answering questions, posting clear instructions
- Identify and establish relationships with quality community service, housing and medical care providers
- Submit budgets for services of third parties when needed, get internal approvals, manage contracts and payments through Joblio's accounting
- Work with Joblio Community Management Director on arranging for transportation for the workers
- Work with Joblio Community Management Director for the housing for the workers
- Arrange for furniture and other household items to be in place by arrival date
- Establish your role as the contact person for the workers and the employer-client
- Arrange for the post-arrival support and orientation

**Arrival into Canada**
- Point of contact at local airport
- Arrange for and manage transportation to housing
- Plan an orientation and communicate plan to workers
- Liaise with Joblio’s company-client on worker schedules
- Plan logistics for workers to travel to and from company-client

**Post-Arrival of Workers into Canada**
- Organize and implement orientation and integration activities for workers
- Point person to company-client for problems or issues with workers
- Assist with foreign worker’s onboarding to payroll and banking systems
- Channel worker and client complaints to Community Management Director
- Act on complaints and issues in a prudent manner including, contacting authorities if necessary.
- Point person to housing providers on behalf of workers

**Qualifications**:

- Responsible
- Problem solver
- Able to work productively with limited direct oversight
- Knowledge of and experience with working with social service organizations in Toronto, Canada
- Able to work flexible hours

** Russian or Ukrainian language skills are a must**

** Driver’s license is a must**
