As part of this dynamic and agile team, your mandate will be to support the Events and Special Projects team in the conception, creation, organization and execution of internal and external events while supporting the actions of the marketing, human resources, recruitment and customer experience teams.

Our Greater Vancouver Area team is looking for an Events Specialist to strengthen its team, and to participate in local growth ambitions. The role also offers many opportunities for development.

What you will do:

- Work with project leads and stakeholders on the end-to-end coordination of various client and internal events including client engagement, employee experience and major community activities
- Coordinate and oversee pre and post event logistics to ensure high impact, exceptional quality, and seamless delivery
- Communicate and collaborate as one member of a broad team, looking for synergies, best practices, and opportunities to bring to best of KPMG to all stakeholders
- Develop relationships with internal and external vendors and suppliers, and maintains an up-to-date vendor and supplier database
- Collaborate with marketing, digital, and creative teams to coordinate a holistic pre and post event guest experience
- Maintains sound budget management and coordinates with various suppliers to follow-up on timely and fair invoicing
- Provides on-site logístical support during the event
- Provides support to the special projects team

**Campus Specialization**:

- Responsible for assisting Campus Recruitment Leads to plan and execute Campus Recruiting events
- Collaborates with Campus Recruitment Leads and the Digital team to amplify and enhance all in-person and virtual events to a broader audience
- Contributes to the development of Social Medial Strategy for local campus activities
- Takes initiative and is proactive in planning ahead, presenting an events strategy in line with Campus trends and needs based on collaboration with the Campus Recruitment Leads
- Works in collaboration with others, taking a lead role in communications both pre and post event

What you bring to this role:

- College degree in hospitality or event planning
- Three to five years of relevant experience in event communications or event planning
- Experience in a professional services environment is an asset
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including outside of regular business hours
- Thrives in a team environment
