As the **Events Specialist**, you will be responsible for researching, planning, executing and reporting on successful medical tradeshows, conferences, exhibits, workshops, and other corporate events to generate leads and support Clarius brand awareness. Clarius exhibits at approximately 100 conferences and workshops annually, making this position very important and strategic for the company.

**You Will**:

- Work with the marketing and sales leaders to identify appropriate industry tradeshows and workshops.
- Identify and negotiate speaking and workshop opportunities at industry events.
- Identify and negotiate additional event-related promotional opportunities.
- Hold regular meetings with various stakeholders to plan and coordinate details for upcoming events.
- Effectively project manage and deliver on time and within budget.
- Manage tradeshow logistics, calendar, and budget.
- Manage inventory of tradeshow properties (including all booth materials).
- Source, order, and manage inventory of trade show display materials, giveaways, etc.
- Create event post-mortems and report on event ROI.
- Track conference expenses and consolidate monthly Marketing credit charges.
- Coordinate medical equipment demo kits (including charging, packing, shipping, tracking, etc.).
- Work with marketing automation specialist to remarket to leads generated at events.
- Make recommendations for increasing impact and ROI on tradeshows.
- Coordinate other marketing activities as needed.

**You Have**:

- ** **Minimum 3+ years of experience in coordinating and executing a minimum of 50 annual corporate events, preferably within the medical or life sciences sector.
- Extraordinarily organized with exceptionally strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and comfortable with making changes on the fly in line with shifting business priorities.
- Proven ability to manage events through entire lifecycle, from requirements gathering through delivery, on time with mínimal supervision.
- Superior communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with wide range of partners and stakeholders, at various levels.
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle competing tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree preferred.
