The City of Coquitlam is currently seeking one organized, data-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team of professionals in the Financial Services division of our Finance, Lands and Police department. If you have a keen eye for detail and high attention to accuracy, and are driven by providing exceptional customer service, this position is for you

Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, this position will be responsible for data entry for accounts payable transactions, performing various accounting functions, verifying and reconciling invoices and payments, and maintaining general ledger accounts. Further, you will be interacting frequently with vendors and other staff by responding to inquiries and providing them with a variety of information. You will also assist with other department and job-related duties as assigned.

In addition to a CUPE hourly rate of $26.87 - $31.56, the City offers a comprehensive benefits package and the option to participate in an earned day off program. Applicants under consideration may be required to consent to a Police Information Check. The City has a vaccination policy that is currently suspended. However, should the policy be reinstated, it will be a requirement for all current and future employees.
