**Learning & Development Coordinator** The Learning & Development Coordinator is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about starting a career in L&D. This role is responsible for the coordination, administration and facilitation of Learning and Development programs in keeping with BlueShore Financial’s strategic direction. Primary accountabilities include championing the BlueShore brand and ensuring all new employees are positively introduced to the organization through the effective coordination and delivery of New Employee Orientation. This role also provides support to the L&D team, enabling the successful execution of L&D programs. Employee Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday - Friday Job Category: HR & Learning Location: Head Office, North Vancouver (hybrid work arrangement) **Key Responsibilities**: - Assists the facilitation of the New Employee Orientation program - Assists coordinating and monitoring employee attendance for New Employee Orientation - Schedules orientation presenters and develops and/or updates the agenda - Assists the coordination of various orientation presentations and presentation requirements of multiple speakers - Coordinates catering, receives orders and ensures all property is returned to the caterer as required - Prepares and assembles orientation and other learning materials such as participant guides - Assists training room is set up for classroom courses and taken down as appropriate - Completes all course administration, including course evaluation and follow-up as required - Responsible for adding new employees, assigning courses, pulling audit reports and cleaning-up of the Learning Management System - Manages L&D Agreement approval through EEM - Supports L&D Specialists by producing Virtual Courses as required - Supports Cybersecurity Team through pulling reports and sending assessment results to Leaders and all staff - Maintains the L&D intranet pages, writing new content and managing intranet posts as required - May provide in-class support or co-facilitation for various learning programs and/or projects - May provide back up to L&D Specialist 1 for New Staff Onboarding - Updates training documentation and course materials as directed - Monitors and orders training supplies and provides general up-keep of the training room - Supports L&D team on departmental and EWP Projects. - Other duties as required **Qualifications and Experience** - Some post-secondary education with a focus in Human Resources or Learning & Development an asset - Some experience working in banking an asset - Good writing and proofing skills - Strong Microsoft Office skills (Skype, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote) - Experience as a Peer Trainer an asset - Working towards Certified Trainer Practitioner (CTP) or BC Provincial Instructors Diploma (PIDP) or equivalent an asset **What can BlueShore Financial can do for you?** - Excellent experience working in a dynamic Learning & Development team - Opportunity to contribute in an organization that considers learning and development as core competency - Opportunity to work in a world class, award winning organization - Continuing education assistance - Comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses, pension, flexible benefits **What BlueShore Financial needs from you**: - Accountability, in all directions - “Can do” attitude - The drive to provide a premium level of service regardless of location or position - Professional appearance and manner Got awards?
