**What you will be doing**:

- Manage files from initial consultation through to resolution.
- Preparation of correspondence, legal opinions, memos, briefs, etc.
- Draft pleadings, motion records, factums, and other legal documents.
- Conduct Examination for Discovery, Mediations, Motions, Trials, etc.
- Provide expert legal advice and advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other external parties as required.
- Conduct legal research.

**What you will bring to the position**:

- Minimum of five (5) years of proven professional experience gained working on commercial and civil litigation matters.
- Lawyer licensed to practice law in the Province of Ontario and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Experience before the Ontario Court and Superior Court of Justice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and litigation legal software and research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw, CanLII, etc.).
- Solid understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Court of Justice Act.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
