**The Opportunity:
**This position sits in the Law, Compliance, Government (LCG) function (1,100+ employees across North America, Europe, and Asia) and will report to the Global Head of LCG Operations & Strategy, responsible for all aspects of LCG operations, strategy, and initiatives worldwide.

The LCG Global Operations & Strategy Team (‘LCG Global Ops’) is structured in Pillars of expertise and is seeking a **seasoned, highly skilled **AVP to lead the Project Management Office, Digital & Data Strategy (‘PMDD’) Pillar.

This Pillar supports the whole LCG Global Ops Team, and the AVP will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance LCG Global Ops instrumental support in the following areas:

- **Project & Portfolio management**:

- **Digital Transformation**:

- **Data Analytics & Business Intelligence**

This is a **highly visible and collaborative position **across LCG; the AVP will be a key and strategic teammate with cross-functional and global responsibilities.

The AVP must have a **vision **and be a **creative force **in direct support of the Global Head of LCG Operations & Strategy as they design together the PMDD global short/mid/long-term strategy and deliver at the global level.

To that end, the AVP analyzes key priorities, brings insights to generate executive action that creates new value for LCG, identifies and prioritizes key areas of impact, develops plans of attack aligned with strategic objectives, pushes change with senior leaders by partnering with them and influencing their direction and focus via the thoughtful analysis and presentation of current state, strengths/challenges, industry/market trends, and driven research.

For this hybrid position, the employee will have to commute to one of the following locations on a weekly basis (2 days a week):

**Individual Contributor Responsibilities**:
As an individual contributor, the AVP is personally accountable for successfully delivering on the following, with the hands-on support of the PMDD team and Ops colleagues, as relevant:
**Project Management Office**
- Identify and implement “quick wins” to immediately support LCG users in an effective and efficient fashion
- Build the PMO in alignment with both short-term needs and mid/long term vision of the Global Head of LCG Operations & Strategy
- Develop project management governance, methodologies, standards, KPIs, standard processes, and self-serve solutions and templates to provide a consistent process and standardized materials across the LCG Ops team
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including communication and change management tasks
- Embed the existing IT PM and funding processes into the global PM process, ensure alignment and consistency of the various steps and documents involved
- Identify improvement, optimization, and further alignment opportunities with existing processes
- Develop important reporting, scorecards, and visualization dashboards to report on project progress
- Select and implement technology to automate and streamline the global PM process
- Project plan the annual LCG Ops roadmap for each LCG Ops leader
- Actively guide and supervise LCG Ops leaders so they properly, accurately, and consistently scope, plan, time and document their project prior to involving clients, using a step-by-step, milestone-by-milestone approach
- Actively supervise LCG Ops leaders in successfully tracking project performance, staying on course, and delivering their projects, on time and on budget
- Actively support LCG Ops leaders in efficiently reporting on their project in a concise, impactful, and visual way; consolidate the reporting for the Global Head of LCG Operations & Strategy
