Our customer service staff interact with guests, help them with their selections and prepare their orders. All while maintaining the Richmond Popcorn Co. brand. A team members responsibility is to ensure that they can speak about all products and promotions. They are responsible for ending the transaction professionally, kindly, and ready to welcome the customer back in, while handling money correctly. **Job Duties**

The Richmond Popcorn Co. Team Members should:

- Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for guests.
- Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently and effectively.
- Answer questions from guests and resolve any concerns, both in person, online and via phone.
- Works to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Notifies management about any issues or concerns.
- Ensure customer and employee safety is a top priority.
- Receive and fulfill in-person and telephone orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Receive, fulfill, package and ship online orders in a timely and accurately manner.
- Proactively clean and maintain the exterior and interior areas, including the store front, backend, storage areas, restrooms, lobby, and displays.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines followed by the store.
- Restock popcorn, displays, and supplies when needed and maintain a clean workspace.
- Knowledgeable of and promote the Richmond Popcorn Co. Loyalty program, products, services, and brand.
- Package, close or seal bags in the approved Richmond Popcorn Co. manner to maintain freshness and brand appearance.
- Perform other duties as workload necessitates or assigned.
- Position may require attendance to support occasional events hosted by the company.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work positively in a team environment.
- Able to follow written or oral instructions and procedures.
- Possess organizational and creative skills.
- Present a neat, clean appearance in uniform according to Richmond Popcorn Co. dress code.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Able to multi-task and handle multiple requests efficiently.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in a retail environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of the functions of POS systems and cash registers preferred.
- Able to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Position will require frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and carrying/lifting up to 50lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Experience with food prep in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not necessary.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
