**_The following is a contract opportunity for approximately one year, working 35 hours/week._**

As the
**Administrative Assistant, Early Resolution**, you will support processes related to intake and early resolution (pre-investigation). You will work collaboratively as part of a larger team, maintaining constructive relationships and communications with all colleagues on the team. In this role, you will support the administrative needs of the Program Manager, Early Resolution (ACD).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ** Correspondence and File Management**:

- Track and monitor KPIs and provide timely reports.
- **
Early Resolution with Consent**:

- Assist Program Manager, Early Resolution (ACD) with preparing various correspondence and documents, agreements and undertakings.
- Update QUEST/DOC as required; track and upload educational certificates and other documentation.
- Ensure assigned files are well-documented, organized, and current in database system.
- Effectively manage high volume area to meet CPSA contact and file process deadlines.
- **
Dismissal Processes**:

- Prepare, print, and distribute correspondence related to dismissal prior to investigation.
- **
Pending Queue**:

- Prepare correspondence; track and monitor pending queue.
- Track KPIs and provide requested reports.
- **
Responses and Medical Record Intake**:

- Prepare and receive correspondence and documents related to Initial Physician Response; direct to proper individual(s).
- Prepare redacted copies of complaint submissions, medical records or other records to provide to external parties.
- Track timelines and follow-up on requested information.
- **
Team Participation**:

- Provide project support to Program Manager/Early Resolution Officer.
- Provide assistance during periods of absence or temporary staffing shortages.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills through continuing education.
- Attend and participate in department and CPSA wide meetings.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**:

- Formalized specialized skills typically obtained through a one-year post-secondary certificate (preferably in Office Administration), or equivalent.

**Experience**:

- Requirement for 3 to 5 years of related experience with preference given to those with experience in healthcare.

**Skills**:

- Advanced MS Office and Adobe skills.
- High level of integrity and professional competence; reliable, capable of handling confidential, sensitive, and personal information.
- Strong analytical capacity and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate flexibility, respect, and teamwork.
- Must be able to maintain composure during periods of high stress and busy workload.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of people with cultural awareness and sensitivity.

**SALARY**
The salary for this contract position is $49,547 annually and includes a benefit package.
