**Summary**

Barber Collins is looking for a security guard with minimum 3 years security experience to work at an account 15 minutes North of Waterloo We are only considering experienced guards who can work 12 hr Day and Night shifts on a 4 week rotation. have their own vehicle and can commit to a minimum 1 year or more..

Guard Job Description

**Duties**:

- Monitor and operate CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access or activities
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and protect property
- Provide assistance and support to visitors and employees
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

**Must have a car**:

- Proven experience as a security guard or 3 years related position is preferred
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods of time.

Expected hours: 42 per week
