The Lead Salesforce Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Salesforce in support of strategic initiatives and ongoing business processes for GXO Logistics. This role will provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. The position works closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other team members to help create a roadmap that meets business requirements and provides technical guidance for on-time delivery and within budget. The lead will also act as a mentor to peers and junior developers to maintain a sustainable analytics ecosystem.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Identify, lead, and deliver efforts to implement well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products using industry-standard tools, libraries, and approaches
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization to align priorities, communicate solution design trade-offs and recommendations, and build and execute CRM platform development plans
- Providing technical expertise in Apex coding, Visualforce development, Lightning components, and other Salesforce-related technologies
- Design user interfaces, tool screens, and end-user workflows to maximize understandability of information, ease of use, and alignment with GXO aesthetic and usability standards
- Continuously improve technical design patterns, workflows, and tools—defining and enforcing standards when necessary to sustain the platform’s effectiveness and sustainability and experimenting with and promoting the adoption of new tools and approaches when appropriate
- Mentor other team members and partners on technical skills, best practices, problem-solving approaches, and standard patterns used at GXO Logistics—formally in structured group settings and informally in one-on-one and small group sessions
- Proactively generalize and share technical approaches and best practices among other developers, and simplify and communicate success stories to broader audiences across the company
- Support end users to ensure they have reliable access to and understanding of data they need to trust to do their jobs effectively
- Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, etc., and detailed design specifications to ensure that architecture standards are followed
- Perform technical solution reviews and provide recommendations to improve adoption and usage

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:
At a minimum, you’ll need:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 8 or more years of experience in Salesforce
- Strong technical experience implementing Sales and Service Cloud projects for TMT or other industry clients
- Strong Salesforce integration skills integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft or other middleware products.
- Good Salesforce user experience layer design & build skills using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Aura and JavaScript
- Client facing experience working with business and IT client stakeholders in leading an architectural / technical design and gain acceptance from cross functional client and vendor teams.
- Prior experience building technical artifacts including Salesforce configuration design, and technical design.

It’d be great if you also have:

- MBA or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Four (4) to Seven (7) years of hands-on experience delivering salesforce solutions that involve configuration, design, and administration, and which emphasize effective design and usability for end users
- Salesforce-related Certifications: Administrator, Salesforce Application Architect, or System Architect
- Strong technology leadership skills
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of all Salesforce product offerings.
- Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns including SOA, Micro-Services, object-oriented design patterns, common integration patterns, etc.
