Whistler, Canada SMD Automotive Full time

SMD Automotive is looking for an Automotive Shop Assistant to join our team.

Job duties for shop assistant include;
- Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks
- Job will mainly entail vehicle tire changes, tire repairs, oil changes and entry level repairs
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace, daily shop cleaning and maintenance jobs
- Will lead to work on engines, brakes, steering, and automotive electrical systems

Qualifications:

- Has to have automotive knowledge and some experience in service and repair.
- Pays attention to detail and focus on the job at hand
- Own tools would be an asset, but we have all the tools necessary to perform repairs
- Reliable and efficient
- Good time management and customer service skills
- Red Seal preferred but not required

We offer:
4 x 10 hour work day, 3 day weekends

Large workshop space

Will consider Permanent Residence sponsorship, but must have a valid work visa in Canada. We do not have staff accommodation services.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
