**Fleet Canada** **Inc.**is a fast paced, growing Aero-structures manufacturer located in Fort Erie.

We are a build to print facility with a 500,000 sq ft facility, manufacturing sheet-metal, machined and composite parts and assemblies for several major aerospace OEMs.

Fleet is in the midst of a modernization transition and is looking for bright and talented individuals who want to lead and grow with a dynamic and evolving organization.

**Job description**

Plan and establish production schedules and release of work to the shop floor to ensure

on-time delivery to customer.

**Work to be performed**:
The following reflects the principal duties and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements, nor does it imply that all workers in this category perform all of these functions.

1. Interact with other departments (e.g. contracts, engineering, purchasing, quality, manufacturing), may assist in preparation of production schedules with milestones for product to be produced.

2. Update “Job Required Dates” and other part parameters to reflect customer inputs, Sales Orders, engineering changes (FCN/CIN), shipments completed and other changes.

3. Release jobs to shop floor on time, based on acceptable release time fences, batch sizes, lead times, delivery dates; orders include normal releases, replacements

4. Maintain data integrity in ERP, seeking clarification from others as required; initiate action to resolve problems with departments affected including engineering changes (FCN/CIN) and recommendations to update resource and part scheduling parameters.

5. May compile special reports on materials, tooling, shop orders, program review charts, etc.

6. Intervene with production control, purchasing and quality to resolve scheduling issues as they arise.

7. Provide visibility to other departments with respect to order release backlog and performance to Sales Order.

8. Facilitate Discrepant Material Reports by releasing follow on jobs as required.

9. Monitor and correct scheduling system errors that may arise.

10. Monitor and provide feedback to Manufacturing Management on workload, projected ability to meet production requirements and anticipated workload peaks/troughs.

11. May perform other related duties as required by the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
