Shipping and Production Support

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Production support worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, participate in quality management program and support counter sales. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to maintaining our high standards of service.

Operational Duties
- Assist production with order and sample fulfillment by preparing individual products ordered as listed on an estimate or invoice.
- Notify the supervisor if production cannot be fulfilled within five business days.
- Complete cleanroom SOP training and comply with all related procedures, including but not limited to:

- Bottling for Sale SOP.
- Forms and records related to this function.
- Perform Quality Management System (QMS) duties as delegated by the Quality Department, including:

- Following SOPs as assigned.
- Performing checks and completing associated forms with specified frequency.
- Maintaining proper records, ensuring their storage, and adhering to retention timelines.
- Identifying and communicating areas for improvement to the Quality Department.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cleanroom and production workspace by performing in-duty custodial tasks such as:

- Sweeping, dusting, and mopping floors.
- Cleaning glass, instruments, and equipment.
- Wiping down lab benches and tables.
- Managing waste and recycling as needed.

Logistics/Warehouse Duties
- Prepare quality-approved outbound orders for shipping:

- Follow the Shipping SOP for proper procedures.
- Select appropriate transport mode based on customer location and required delivery date.
- Print and affix waybill labels and any necessary Dangerous Goods (DG) decals.
- Ensure packages are picked up or delivered by the scheduled carrier, and record tracking numbers on the Packing Slip.
- Update the shipment tracker with shipment details.
- Receive and process shipments and deliveries, including:

- Verifying materials against packing slips for vendor approval and quantities.
- Removing secondary packaging and placing items in quarantine or their designated storage location.
- Recycling packaging materials (e.g., breaking down boxes).
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies, and notify the supervisor when items are running low.
- Conduct regular inventory counts of cleanroom finished goods, fridge-stored goods, and warehouse supplies.

Administrative Duties
- Cross-train with administrative functions, including:

- Handling in-house customer payments, cash floats, mailed cheques, and bank deposits.
- Assisting with basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phones during busy periods.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all operational, logistics, and administrative activities.
- Support coordination between departments (e.g., production, quality, logistics) to ensure seamless operations.

Other General Duties
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews as required.
- Proactively identify and suggest process improvements.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and confidentiality requirements.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
