This position is focused on supporting and contributing to the success of Tim Hortons. **Key Responsibilities**: - Work as a team to provide exceptional guest service providing important visual cues for guest that make a positive first impression - Delivers consistent and outstanding guest service through friendly attitude, attentive behaviour, and strong product knowledge - Ensures every guest receives a prompt and warm greeting within 5 seconds at the front counter - Prepares all products as required, minimizing food waste, through production of smaller quantities of food more often throughout the day. Records prepared items and waste on production sheet - Follows the guaranteed Always fresh procedure to ensure coffee, sandwich and bakery products are always baked fresh and always accurate - Ensures that all products are prepared and served to the Tim Hortons recipe specification - Enhances the guest experience by following the SET principles: Smile, Eye contact, Thankyou - Uses proper procedures to ensure the accuracy of every order for every guest E.g. repeating guest order when it is presented to them using H.O.T.R.O.D.S and marking hot beverage lids - Ensures every guest receives a prompt and warm greeting within 5 seconds at the front counter - Maintains speed of service targets by working efficiently with a sense of urgency to fill orders and meet guests needs - Promptly executes service recovery for any guest concerns or complaints by making it right with the guest regardless of involvement in the issue - Operating a Point of Sale System (POS)cash handling experience - Maintains and demonstrates expert knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, specials, events and promotions across the property - Regularly takes temperatures of the required products and records in the Time and Temperature log - Follows all operational standards and guidelines for preparation of products and operation of equipment according to training and operational manuals provided - Monitors fridge and freezer product inventory and submits order quantities - Ensures showcase and product needs are always up to par - Contributes to a positive work environment - Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter - Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner - Adhere to all Tim Hortons quality standards and principles and all Casino Rama policies - Responsible for keeping all work surfaces, chillers and small equipment clean, organised and sanitised - Ensures all uniform and grooming standards are followed on each shift - Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned **What You’ll Require**: - Knowledge of food and beverage service - Have fun while making your guests day - Positive attitude, people skills - Ability to present and conduct themselves in a professional manner - Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register - Ability to work as a team or independently - Ability to work overtime as required - Multi-tasking skills - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Enjoys working in the company of others and contributes to a positive environment **What Is Next** - **Gateway will post/recruit in accordance with the terms and conditions of applicable Collective Agreements_ "Play Smart"
