The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor

**Summary**

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving inventory within the manufacturing warehouse and yard in a safe and efficient manner, and supplying raw materials to the production floor

**Job Duties**
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips, report damages or discrepancies, and label inventory
- Accurately pick outgoing orders and pack appropriately for shipping
- Prepare shipping documents such as packing slips, bills of lading, waybills, and customs documents
- Operate reach truck, forklift and pallet jacks to load/unload shipments and move inventory
- Control physical inventory movements of raw and finished goods within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate account of finished goods inventory within warehouse storage locations
- Schedule and coordinate with both inbound and outbound carriers and couriers
- Communicate internally and with logistics providers

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of warehouse experience with shipping/receiving
- 2+ years’ experience driving various forklifts
- Forklift certification preferred
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to multi-task, being able to thrive in a high-pressure environment and attention to detail.

Microsoft Dynamics AX knowledge would be an asset

**Work Conditions**
- Warehouse setting, Monday through Friday; occasional overtime may be required
- Steel-toed boots are mandatory

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
