**Position Overview**:
As a Shipper/Receiver at Almac Metal Industries Ltd., you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the shipping and receiving of materials and products, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to quality standards. Your expertise in inventory control, logistics coordination, and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth functioning of our supply chain.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record and maintain inventory data, including item quantities, locations, and movement within the warehouse.
- Organize and label inventory items for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and completing necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with shipping and receiving regulations, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with electronic records.
- Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or shortages and assist in resolving related issues.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to safely move materials within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Shipper/Receiver or in a similar warehouse role.
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing inventory counts and maintaining records.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy materials up to 50 pounds as required.
- Familiarity with construction or manufacturing industry products and materials is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
