- **Advisor, Talent Acquisition & Training **for Central and Western Canada**In this role, you support Sika in two ways**:
1) By striving to source top talent that compliments the current teams.
- 2) By empowering our employees to grow as Sika grows - to foster a culture of learning and invest in our people by offering, implementing and evaluating training opportunities.**A snapshot of the role**

**Talent Acquisition**:

- Lead the entire recruitment and selection process
- Manage job posting and **advertising** for all Central and Western Canada hourly and salary positions on the company website, social media, school job boards and other recruitment channels
- Collaborate with the HR team and Marketing to develop new strategies to strengthen Sika's **branding** in recruitment matters
- Attend **job fairs **and promote Sika to universities, colleges and other schools to attract talent
- Report recruitment statistics to management and provide updates to the HR team

**Training**:

- Communicate and enforce the training request and approval process to all employees
- Manage the Learning Management System to ensure compliance with corporate training requirements and provide support to employees in navigating the system
- Coordinate and implement trainings for employees, and work closely with management to understand training requirements for each position
- Ensure compliance with government training requirements
- Implement surveys and feedback forms to ensure that the training provided to employees is valued and meaningful

**We Need Your Skills**

**You have**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience
- A member of the HRPA, CHRP designation completed or in progress is an asset

**You are**:

- An excellent communicator with the ability to coach and influence others
- Able to prioritize, multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Willing to travel 10-15% of the time
