Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a temporary (6 months) job opening. Help support a purchasing team by Following up on past due and non-confirmed purchase orders with our vendors/manufacturers and/or expedite open orders. Assist Buyers in resolving over shipments, short shipments and or damage goods. Create internal adjustments to keep or return inventory, requires good problem solving skills and Capabilities to work with many different stakeholders such as vendors, operations, payable, buyers and inventory control.

Job Summary:

- Manage OS&D (Over, Short & Damage) items
- Conatct various stakeholders (internal & external) to establish root cause and appropriate action to be taken. Action may be one of the following
- Contact suppliers
- Create Purchase Order
- Manage return to supplier via internal stakeholder
- Etc
- Manage past dues and non-conform
- Follow-up on late orders with various suppliers to get revised delivery date
- Follow-up on non-conform orders with various suppliers
- Expedites inbound stock from vendors

Other duties as assigned

**Required Skills**:

- Entry level analytical skills with good problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Strong relations skills required

**Experience**:

- 2-4 years purchasing related duties in a distribution environment or in accounting related duties
