At our Richmond Receiving Station, we receive cranberries annually, which are delivered by our local cranberry farmers across BC. You will be a part of the process of ensuring the quality of this year’s harvest of cranberries, as well as ensuring their safe arrival to storage freezers across the border. Products are not made at our location, though our station is a crucial step in the whole process of creating quality cranberry products

Ocean Spray **Richmond BC Receiving Station** is currently seeking several enthusiastic and motivated individuals to immediately fill the **Seasonal Full Time** **Data Entry**positions.

**Position Available**:

- Full Time Lab Assistants

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Performs analytical testing of fruit according to established procedures.
- Accurately documents the results of the testing procedures.
- Communicates with the supervisor of any quality issues and equipment failure.
- Responsible to maintain the lab in a clean and organized manner.
- Attends work on a timely and consistent basis for scheduled Harvest hours, as well as having the ability to work overtime as required.
- Learn and work in a fast paced production environment.
- Work independently or as a part of the team to accomplish work.

**Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements**:

- Post-secondary science education is preferred.
- Experience working in a lab is an asset.
- Experience in a food processing facility an asset.
- Have the ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and keep accurate records.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
- Protective footwear required.
- Use of Biometrics for time reporting/clocking in and out is required.
- All job offers are contingent on a successful criminal background check.

**What we offer**:

- **Salary: $21.84 per hour($21.00 plus 4% vacation pay)**:

- During Cranberry Harvest season (Sept-Nov), overtime is required based on operation needs and paid at 1.5 times the hourly wage after 8 hours
- Attendance Bonus paid at the end of harvest season - this is only applicable if an employee stays for the entire duration of the harvest season
