**Tufting & DIY Art Lab Assistant**

**Location**: Richmond, BC

**Job Type**: Part-time / Full-time

**Job Overview**

Banana Tufting & DIY Art Lab is a fun, creative space where people of all ages can explore tufting, decoden, and other DIY crafts. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic **Tufting & DIY Art Lab Assistant** to help customers with their projects, assist with birthday parties, and keep the studio organized and running smoothly.

**ResponsibilitiesCustomer Assistance & Workshop Support**
- Guide customers through tufting, decoden, and other DIY art projects.
- Provide step-by-step instructions and ensure a fun, engaging experience.
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving during workshops.

**Event & Party Assistance**
- Help set up and facilitate birthday parties and group events.
- Engage with guests to create a positive and memorable experience.
- Assist with cleanup and resetting the space between events.

**Studio Organization & Maintenance**
- Keep art supplies, tools, and materials organized and stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and report when restocking is needed.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming workspace for customers.

**General Support**
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Process bookings and answer questions about workshops.
- Help with social media content (if interested), such as capturing photos of customer projects.

**Qualifications**
- Passion for arts, crafts, and DIY projects (experience in tufting or decoden is a plus).
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a retail, hospitality, or teaching environment is a bonus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
