As a result of the tremendous popularity of the VW brand and the continuing growth of Harbourview Volkswagen, we have an opening for 1st-Yearl VW Service Apprentice. We are seeking professionals who have outstanding work skills and are committed to developing lifetime clientele with a leading premium brand.

Position Summary:
**Duties**:

- Examine Vehicles
- Diagnose service requirements
- Complete basic services and repairs
- Assist Service Technicians with services and repairs
- Maintain a safe, clean and tidy workshop
- Other duties as required

Education, Skills and Experiences:
This fantastic opportunity is suitable for an energetic, self-motivated, customer focused individual looking to take their career to the next level

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma or equivalent and/or post-secondary education
- Currently enrolled in SkilledTradesBC Automotive Apprenticeship Program
- Willing to participate in on-going technical training as required
- 1-2 years of direct work experience, preferably in European repair shop
- Valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
- Safety shoes
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
