We are currently hiring for 2nd to 3rd Year Service Apprentice Electrician in Nanaimo, BC and the surrounding areas. Compensation for this role ranges from $22.75 / hour to $32.99 / hour, health and dental benefits after three months, and RRSP matching after one year. Responsibilities Conduit bending Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics Drilling and cable-pulling Punctual and reliable presence on worksites Follow safety programs and policies, wear appropriate PPE, and attend safety training as required Present a positive, can-do attitude in the workplace and with our clients Cutting in and splicing switches / receptacles / lights Use of standard construction power tools Qualifications Must be able to be registered as an apprentice through SkilledTrades BC Electrical field experience is required Commercial / residential construction experience an asset Basic hand tools and cordless power tools Valid class 5 driver’s license preferred Adequate knowledge of the CEC Willing to work out of town, longer shifts, and / or evening shifts.
