Calgary, Canada Sundance Lake Residents Association Ltd. Full time

Sundance Lake is members only lake and park maintained and operated for the homeowners Association. The Lake has between 13-20 employees. Sundance lake is a 33 acre lake and a 22 acre park with year-round outdoor and indoor community activities and events including boating, fishing, disc golf, basketball, court sports, rollerblading, soccer, playgrounds, picnic areas, beach volleyball, room and hall rentals, indoor games room, a large family beach area.

**The Operations department at Sundance Lake has up to eight team members in the summer. Responsibilities of this role are for care and maintenance of the buildings and park. This includes grounds maintenance, custodial duties for the buildings, and break coverage for the office**:
This is a physically demanding role and requires the ability to lift up to (25kg)
- set up of tables and chairs for meeting room rentals
- maintenance of the turf including cutting, fertilizing and watering pruning trees and shrubs
- preparing, planting and maintaining flowers beds and planters
- fall clean up of the park including raking and removal of leaves
- maintain / repair the irrigation system as needed
- maintenance of the perimeter fence and gates

installation and removal of holiday lights and decorations
- relieve gate attendants for their breaks and perform office duties as required (update membership cards, sign out equipment, etc.)
- maintain and repair the docks and access docks as required
- care and maintenance of the beach area
- set up and take down beach umbrellas
- responsible for the collection of garbage throughout the park
- cleaning of cook shacks and BBQs
- cleaning of maintenance area in the main building
- responsible for an understanding and enforcement of park rules
- participate in staff training and meetings as requested

Valid Drivers License and Police Information clearance are required.

Valid First aid, WHIMIS, Boat operator license, elevated platform lift certificates would be considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
