As a vital member of The Grove Theatre team, the **Event Assistant** will be involved in supporting and executing all of The Grove Theatre’s productions and events during the 2025 Season. The Event Assistant will ensure that the amphitheatre grounds are tidy, and equipment is set up prior to each production and event at the amphitheatre. The Event Assistant will also communicate with various departments to ensure successful operation of the amphitheatre, and assist with the execution of off-site and pre or post show events. **Reports to: Patron Experience Manager**

- Maintain a clean and pleasant environment on site before and during events.
- Assist with regular upkeep of the Fairgrounds property.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is required.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to learn more about the theatre industry but feel they have a lot to give. This is a very personable position, so communication skills, enjoying working as a team and supporting your co-workers are key factors.

**How to Apply**:
1. What interests you about The Grove Theatre

**Working at The Grove Theatre**

All of our team members should be comfortable with the knowledge that June to September will have a heavier workload. During productions our days will be split between a variety of locations and spread between daytime, evening, weekday and weekends. It can be frenetic but together we will set ourselves up for a marathon and not a sprint. We aim to make space for people to be more than just their jobs. We want to share things we care about and we notice in our communities. We can’t be task oriented all the time and we think it’s important to include the time to reflect and connect.

The Grove is a new organization and as such, policies and procedures are still being developed. We celebrate diversity in arts and people (including employees), and are working to prioritize inclusive and accessible processes and experiences. We want to carefully consider all decisions that will build the root system of The Grove and we are approaching this with the understanding that these decisions take time and care.
