Glenmore Machining and Supply Ltd, an established Machining shop in Calgary's SE, has immediate openings for skilled CNC Machinists. In this role, you will support our production team to manufacture downhole tool parts on state-of-the-art CNC machines. We are currently hiring machinist with milling and/or turning experience for a Monday to Friday day-shift and Monday to Friday afternoon-shift positions. GMS offers an enjoyable work environment with competitive wages and benefits. Full benefits after 3 months of employment.

Main duties include:

- Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
- Measure, examine parts to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
- Monitor feeds and speeds of machines during the machining process.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
- Select the appropriate tools, machines, to be used in preparation of machinery work.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience as a CNC machinist.
- Must be able to edit program to assure best run times.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have own tools.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.

Shifts:

- MON to FRI Day-shift 8 hrs (6:30 am - 3:00pm)
- MON to FRI Afternoon-shift 8 hrs (3:00 pm - 11:30pm)

**Salary**:

- Negotiable, based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
