**Summary of Position**: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant will focus on tasks and responsibilities that will support the Finance and HR functions to ensure build and maintain the smooth operation of activities for a growing company.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
Administrative Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting with
- front-line customer service via phone or walk-in visitors, including customer payment processing
- administrative functions including electronic file management, kitchen and office supplies, office errands, other clerical activities
- development, creation, documentation, and management of company policies and procedures in alignment with corporate values and operational needs
- planning, set-up and execution of employee events such as bbq, holiday events, etc.
- maintaining tracking spreadsheets for training and development activities
- scheduling appointments for project managers
- other duties as assigned

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience in office tasks and setting
- High attention to detail, and the will to take initiative and work independently when needed
- Reliable with a personable and positive demeanor who promotes employee engagement and a positive workplace culture
- Professional integrity, sense of responsibility and accountability and the ability to handle information with a high degree of confidentiality**.**:

- Ability to communicate effectively; advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Understanding of associated laws and regulations (Occupational Health & Safety Act, Employment Standards Act, Ontario Human Rights Code) is an asset
- Fluent in English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
