**PRODUCTION MANAGER**

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production team to ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality food products while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of food manufacturing processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Production Planning and Scheduling**:Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory targets. Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow.

2. **Team Leadership**:Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity and morale.

3. **Quality Assurance**:Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the production of safe and high-quality food products. Work closely with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any issues related to product quality.

4. **Process Optimization**:Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to streamline production processes.

5. **Budget Management**:Manage the production budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs. Identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.

6. **Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations. Stay informed about industry standards and regulations to implement necessary changes in production practices.

7. **Continuous Training and Development**:Develop training programs for production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Stay abreast of industry trends and technology to ensure the production team remains competitive and efficient.

8. **Communication and Collaboration**:Communicate regularly with other departments, including sales, marketing, and R&D, to align production with overall company goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any challenges and opportunities in the production process.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with production planning software and ERP systems.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
