As a PM, you’ll lead teams of various disciplines in work planning, proposal development and execution of work along with financial delivery of projects. You’re analytical and writing skills will be called upon as you perform these duties. By joining Jacobs, you’ll commit to supporting and engaging with these teams, as we work to build a company like no other. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree - Professional site characterization and remediation project experience with an emphasis on petroleum related contaminants, including experience operating at the task manager or project manager level - Specific training, knowledge, and experience necessary to develop, review, and implement various work plans and quality assurance project plans. - Familiarity with state and federal regulations; knowledge of Alberta and British Columbia regulatory processes - HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain and maintain and experience as SSHO - Ability to plan, perform and oversee field work. **Ideally, You’ll Also Have**: - Master’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree - Professional Engineer, Geologist or Project Management Professional (P.E., P.G, or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain in Alberta and British Columbia - Experience with the environmental consulting industry managing multiple site characterization and remediation projects - Located in the Alberta or British Columbia area - At Jacobs, we’re challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world’s most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
