Technical Service Representative

Scarborough, Canada Sames Full time

**Job Purpose**:
Provide equipment/systems installation services and technical assistance to **Sames**’ sales staff and customers.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide service and repairs and estimates onsite or remotely in a timely manner
- Assist with and perform installations and training
- Assist with **Sames** training schools
- Prepare reports as required by the technical manager
- Account management: visiting accounts to ensure our equipment is performing at its highest efficiency
- Provide reactive urgent service
- Catalog & maintain demonstration equipment

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Mechanical and electrical knowledge, preferably through work-related experience
- Mechanical aptitude: ability to master new products and assembly tools
- Able to work safely with hand and power tools; possess good hand and eye coordination
- Able to travel as required (valid driver’s license and valid passport)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and write in English (French as asset); good communication and organizational skills
- Outstanding punctuality and organizational skills
- Problem solving capabilities
- Team driven work ethic
- Mission to serve with a sense of urgency
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, and management

Pay: $17.50-$28.00 per hour
