The Product Manager team is part of the Portfolio Growth team in the NAVBLUE organization. Portfolio Growth organization focuses on driving and accelerating the growth of the company's overall portfolio of products and offerings. We typically work strategically to identify and pursue opportunities that lead to increased revenue, market share, profitability and customer engagement. We develop and execute initiatives that contribute to the expansion and success of the organization's entire product range.
The SAFe Agile Product Manager is responsible for leading and guiding the development of our products within our organization that follows the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and communicate product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The SAFe Agile Product Manager serves as the central point of contact for all product-related activities and decisions, facilitating communication between stakeholders, development teams, and leadership.
Overall, the SAFe Agile Product Manager plays a crucial role in orchestrating the development process, ensuring that products are delivered efficiently, aligned with business objectives, and meet customer needs within a Scaled Agile Framework environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Product Vision and Strategy: Participate to the product vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals, market trends, architectural runway and customer feedback.
- Product Backlog Management: Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that user stories and features are well-defined, actionable, and aligned with the product vision.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business value owners, enterprise architects, stakeholders, and end-users to gather and understand requirements, capturing both functional and non-functional aspects of the product.
- Prioritization: Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize backlog items based on value, business objectives, architecture objectives and customer needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Operations, Customer Fullfilment and other relevant departments, to ensure a smooth and efficient development process.
- Release Planning: Participate in release planning activities, defining release content, scope, and objectives. Ensure that development efforts are synchronized across teams and align with the overall product roadmap.
- Feature Development: Provide clear and detailed features and requirements to development teams, addressing any questions or ambiguities that arise during the development process.
- Feedback and Iteration: Collect and analyze user feedback, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions about future product iterations and enhancements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between the development teams, stakeholders, and leadership, providing regular updates on product progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to successful product delivery and work proactively to address or mitigate them.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Basic flight operations knowledge
- Strong understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices.
- Proficiency in product management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information to make informed decisions.
- Experience in defining and prioritizing product backlogs.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align product efforts with business goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile project management software.
- English negotiation level
