**Summary**

We are seeking an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in British Columbia. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of our company by ensuring accurate processing of accounts payable transactions as well as full cycle payroll. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering top-notch services in the drilling and blasting sector.

**Responsibilities**
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits, and taxes
- Prepare, review, and process accounts payable invoices and payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain and update payroll and accounts payable databases
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies
- Respond to employee or vendor inquiries regarding payroll and payments
- **Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in payroll administration and accounts payable procedures
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
