**Job Title**:Event and Marketing Coordinator
**Location**: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid/Remote flexibility)
**Employment Type**: Part-time, less than 30 hrs a week, with the potential for full-time work.

**Position overview**:
We are looking for a Part-Time Event and Marketing Coordinator to support project management tasks and event coordination. This role is tailored for someone early in their career, eager to develop their skills, and motivated to grow with our company. You’ll collaborate closely with the company president to assist in various event planning stages and marketing support activities.
**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:
- Event Planning Coordination_
- Project Coordination - Assist with event logistics, project scope tracking, and task management from start to finish.
- Client Meetings: Participate in client calls, prepare agendas, and maintain meeting notes.
- Event Data and Reporting: Collect and create monthly dashboard reports on event metrics and key performance indicators.
- Performs other event planning tasks as assigned.
- Marketing Coordination_
- Marketing Assistance: Support the development of content for social media, track engagement, and update marketing materials as needed.
- Maintain and update the monthly marketing calendar.
- Track and report on marketing metrics and ROI.
- Assist in writing, designing, and coordinating marketing materials.
- Performs other marketing tasks as assigned.
**Compensation**:
Hourly rate: $20-$25 per hour, based on experience.
**About you**:
- Core Skills_
- 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, project management, marketing, or related fields.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong planning, time management, and priority-setting skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Flexible schedule for occasional weekend events.
- Soft Skills_
- Positive attitude, proactive, adaptable, and willing to grow.
- Preference but not required_
- Familiarity with Office 365, LinkedIn, and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of Cvent, PheedLoop, EventMobi, or similar tools.
- Prior experience creating trending content.
