Marketing & Events Co-Ordinator (full-time)

As one of the original Craft Distillers in BC, the next steps in our growth require a passionate and creative full-time Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our sales and management team to help create, promote, and manage our marketing, events, and community building. This is an opportunity for someone with creative juices and a can-do attitude to build their role and shape the brand awareness of Odd.

The role includes:

- Develop & manage our communication and marketing strategies.
- Manage our newsletter and related content.
- Build relationships with media, influencers, and community partners.
- Oversee marketing, booking and execution of various events.
- Create and collaborate with community partners for events.
- Concept, plan and conduct events that attract and cater to the community with the goal of increasing event bookings and revenue within the lounge.
- Develop external marketing and event opportunities within the community.
- Assist in day-to-day marketing activities, including social media support and customer engagement.

Qualifications:

- Marketing or similar diploma or degree
- Proven experience in marketing and / or event management & promotion in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in building sales & community collaborations.
- Proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Detail oriented, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and alongside others.
- Super creative with innovative ideas and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as may be required.
- Hold a BC Driver’s License and be comfortable driving a company van.
