**Office Administrator - Human Resources**

**Job Type**: Maternity Leave Replacement, full-time, with benefits

**Salary**: Starting at $55,000-$65,000 (depending on experience and qualifications), excellent benefits provided.

At the CCTS, our mandate is to review and resolve telecommunications and television complaints after interaction between the customer and their service provider has failed to produce a satisfactory outcome. The CCTS provides a free and impartial service to customers across Canada.

**Your Role**:
The **Office Administrator** performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties across various departments to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. This hybrid role is required to attend the office **two days per week** to ensure smooth day to day processes in a hybrid working environment. Although this role provides support across the organization, a lot of this support is especially focused on supporting the Human Resources team.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day office processes under a hybrid model
- Purchase and track expenses related to Human Resources, training and office administration
- Keep the office orderly, organized and well-stocked by maintaining and organizing inventory of office and kitchen supplies
- Assist with the scheduling, coordination, and preparation for staff wide events, including in person and virtual meetings, training seminars, team building and social events
- Provide administrative support with tasks such as filing, creation of general documents and presentations and maintaining contact lists
- Liaise with building management and external suppliers for items relating to office management, including service calls, floor planning, and office furniture and design; assist with related project management
- Support the planning and scheduling of staff trainings (in conjunction with the Human Resources team and other departments)
- Responsible for mail and courier pickup and deliveries, and distribution
- Back up to Administrative roles in other departments
- Support the HR Director in various projects and initiatives related to human resources, as needed
- Support other departments with administrative tasks and special projects that may arise from time to time
- You have a **post-secondary education** (minimum 2-year community college), **preferably in administration, business, and/or project management**:

- You have a **minimum of 3 years’ experience** in an administrative role, including experience with general office administration
- You have exceptional **attention to detail** and **ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.**:

- You have intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with **MS Office Suite**, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- You take initiative to independently **solve problems**, but know when it is appropriate to involve others
- You are a creative thinker who enjoys **building and improving processes** to ensure high levels of efficiency in your work
- You handle **confidential information** tactfully and discreetly
- If you also have some experience in **the telecommunications or television industry** that would be an asset
- **Bilingual?** Even better French/English bilingualism is strongly preferred, and a strong comprehension of French is definitely an asset for success in the role.
