**Key Responsibilities**
Volunteer Program Development
- **Program Creation**: Develop a structured volunteer program aligning with Habitat Canada standards; create foundational documents, volunteer handbooks, policies, and workflows.
- **Recruitment & Scheduling**: Serve as the primary contact for volunteers; coordinate recruitment, screening, onboarding, and manage volunteer scheduling across builds, ReStore operations, and events.
Training & Onboarding
- **Material Development**: Create onboarding and training materials, including general orientation, mandatory training modules, and supervision guides for managers.
- **Implementation**: Conduct onboarding and training sessions ensuring volunteers clearly understand their roles and responsibilities.
Tracking & Data Management
- **Data Systems**: Implement and manage volunteer tracking databases, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of volunteer records and documentation.
- **Compliance**: Ensure accurate record-keeping aligned with national volunteer management guidelines.
Volunteer Engagement Initiatives
- **Communication & Recognition**: Develop and execute volunteer recognition strategies, including planning appreciation events to foster engagement and retention.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Address volunteer inquiries and resolve conflicts professionally and effectively.
Cross-Department Collaboration

**Skills**

**Experience & Education**
- Current post-secondary student, preferably in community development, volunteer management, social sciences, or related fields.
