The Granite Club is looking for a part time Curling Assistant/Instructor To assist the Curling Manager with administration and instruction of programs for the Curling Section, while maintaining the highest standards of excellence and personal service to the Members in every aspect of these programs.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensuring a safe curling facility and environment for Members, Staff and Guests.
- Assist the Curling Manager in offering appropriate curling programs based upon an ongoing assessment of section needs and requirements.
- Assist with promotion of all programs and events in the Curling Section
- Deliver instruction on and off the ice to our different Member programs, including Learn to Curl, Junior programs and corporate rentals.
- Ensure appropriate office administration system is maintained including an efficient, up-to-date filing system that records membership information, program information, business transactions, registration information, function bookings, sponsorship data, and billings.
- Ensure timely billing of events and proper coordination with the Club's administrative office.
- Assist the Curling Manager in Liaising with the Curling Committee Convener, Directors Liaison and other Committee members as required to ensure proper communications with and support of the section committees. To attend and provide the required input at all necessary Committee meetings.
- Assist with the coordination and administration of all aspects of league play, draws, bonspiels and special events.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the Facilities Team.
- Assist and attend section social functions and bonspiels as required.
- Ensure House Rules are monitored and communicated to Members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education preferably in Recreation, Physical Education or Sports Administration
- Previous administrative experience
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Excellent public relations and communication (English) skills
- Excellent administrative, planning and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills.
- Certified Level I Curl Canada Instructor/OCC Train the Trainer Course
