**Job Description: Application Deployment Specialist**

**Scope**:
The resource may be assigned to support additional Ministries or other technical tasks as project needs evolve. The ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform software updates, including testing and implementing new releases of operating systems.
- Maintain migration documentation that reflects operating procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Support acceptance testing and production environments, ensuring successful deployments.
- Assist with problem resolution and provide general technical support as needed.
- Develop and maintain automated tools/scripts for efficient and accurate code deployment.
- Provide on-call support on an as-needed basis for critical deployments and issue resolution.
- Deliver timely and detailed status reports to the Manager and other stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance guidelines and maintain high standards across all deliverables.
- Manage project timelines effectively, meeting deadlines and ensuring deliverables align with business needs.

**Technologies and Tools**:

- Programming Languages: C#.Net, PowerBuilder, C, Pro*C, Perl, Java, Kornshell.
- Databases: MS SQL Server, Sybase.
- Operating Systems: Windows (Intel) and UNIX environments.
- Source Code Control and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
