**EQUIPMENT, FLEET, & SHOP MANAGER**

We are looking for a hard-working, self-motivated employee with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Equipment, Fleet and Shop Manager. This is a full-time permanent position available with competitive wages and benefit packages, and learning and development. **JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for coaching, mentoring, scheduling, monitoring attendance, conflict resolution, learning and development for a team of employees
- Oversee the day to day running of the shop and keep the flow of work constant
- Ensure oversight of time and equipment/job costing
- Answer any questions and assist mechanics have with troubleshooting
- Organize and schedule labour in the workshop or field
- Verify the level of quality on completed projects by the mechanics
- Create quotes for the repairs needed
- Ensure that warranties are researched to determine if the Manufacturer still has responsibility
- Foster a workplace culture of safety, with appropriate leadership
- Continually promote health and safety awareness with instruction, information, training and supervision to ensure the safe performance of employees
- Responsible for shop and equipment monthly budgets
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Ability to use technology and implement new systems (parts, inventory, PM schedules)
- Work with Safety Manager to ensure compliance and for equipment inspections

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:

- Trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal
- 3-4 years of relevant leadership experience

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to adapt to last-minute changes as dictated by the needs of our customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental, Human Resources policies
