**Description**:
We are looking for a bright, energetic individuals to assist in our policy issuance department who is meticulous, customer focused and has the ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines.

The successful individual can be located within any city in which we have an office location**:Winnipeg, MB, Regina, SK, London, ON, or Halifax, NS**. Selected individuals will be eligible to participate in our work from policy allowing a hybrid of working from home and in-office attendance. New hires may be asked to attend the office more frequently during the period of onboarding and training.

**Responsibilities**:

- Works closely and develops strong relationships with the Underwriting department for data processing and assembling of new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations of insurance policies.
- Actively engages across multiple company departments (Claims, Loss Prevention, Finance, etc.) on matters affecting, or related to assigned accounts.
- Assists fellow UA team members to maintain service standards and supporting other underwriting assistants in achieving targets.
- Enters quotes accurately in a timely manner.
- Manages and prepare account documentation.
- Provides administrative support and other related services as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 1 year office environment experience
- Bilingual in French required
- Insurance industry experience an asset
- Willingness to take initiative with an eagerness to learn
- Strong keyboarding and computer skills
- Savvy with technology and familiarity with MS Office software
- Must have high attention to detail & able to perform work accurately
- Excellent time management
- Good communication skills, both oral & written
- Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other team members
- Completion of Grade 12 education
