REPORTS TO: Farm Underwriting Supervisor

SCHEDULE: Full-time

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position is responsible for assisting the Underwriting team with the day-to-day administration of activities. This includes: the daily collection of policy information and data entry into our Computer Management System. In addition, this role will provide clerical support to a team of Underwriters and assist in the successful completion of organizational deadlines and production goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

- Work alongside the department to provide a high level of customer service to broker partners

- Data entry of policies into an Insurance Management System

- Collaboration with the underwriting team and the broker partners

- Entering policy changes into our Insurance Management System

- Clerical duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

- High school diploma

- Post-secondary education considered an asset

- Experience in customer service

- High Level of organization

- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office program suite

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Experience with data entry and strong typing skills

- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy

- Proven teamwork and collaboration skills Deadline driven
