**Utility Worker - General Labour (Nuclear Industry) - multiple openings**
- Hourly rate of pay: $29.19_

**PRIMARY FUNCTION**
Perform laboring duties, handling materials and other functions that may be physically demanding in nature.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform grinding operations using various equipment (i.e. handheld grinders, polishers).
- Perform basic tube/pipe preparation.
- Assist other skilled trades as required (i.e. Welders and Fitters).
- Cleaning and sorting of product parts.
- Work in a safe manner. Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
- Work in accordance with established work orders and procedures.
- Complete records and documentation as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations.
- Physical agility aimed at performing manual labour.
- Previous work experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Must be willing to be assigned to any of the following shifts:
- Days: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. (Mon - Thurs)
- Afternoons: 4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. (Mon - Thurs)
- Weekend days: 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)
- Weekend nights: 5:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)
