SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts is one of Canada’s leading hotel management companies and manages a large portfolio of full-service, focused service and extended stay hotels across Canada. The company manages hotels operating under major franchise brands, such as Marriott and Hilton.
**Hotel Halifax** is rebranding to Delta Hotels by Marriott in 2026, and we need a **Sales & Marketing Coordinator** to be the backbone of our sales engine and the creative force behind our promotions. Nestled in downtown Halifax, our historic hotel is undergoing a transformative renovation - blending timeless charm with modern sophistication.

**What You’ll Do**
**Sales & Client Coordination**:
- Be the first point of contact for sales inquiries, group bookings, and catering requests - turning “maybe” into “confirmed” with polished professionalism.
- Process contracts and proposals under brand guidelines, ensuring flawless execution.
- Assist with revenue strategies by updating rate plans and tracking market trends.
**Event & Catering Hustle**:
- Coordinate seamless events, from intimate meetings to large-scale catering functions.
- Liaise between clients and operations to deliver unforgettable experiences.
- Jump into action during tradeshows and promotions - setting up displays and wowing potential clients.
**Marketing Magic**:
- Create eye-catching promotional materials (digital ads, brochures) that align with Delta’s brand standards.
- Maintain client databases and loyalty programs to keep our outreach sharp and personalized.
- Be aware and contribute to our competitor advantage (SWOT analysis) and spot opportunities to keep us ahead.
**Behind-the-Scenes Excellence**:
- Generate reports on bookings, revenue, and campaign performance - your insights drive decisions.
- Keep inventory and supplies stocked so events run without a hitch.
- Tackle administrative tasks with precision, ensuring the sales team operates like a well-oiled machine.
**How You Excel**
**Hospitality Pro**: 2-3 years in hotel sales, events, or marketing (bonus points for Marriott systems knowledge).
**Tech-Savvy**:Master of Opera S&C, Delphi.fdc, Microsoft Office, and maybe even Canva/Adobe.
**Detail-Obsessed**:You catch errors others miss and take pride in flawless execution.
**Brand Transition Ready**:Adaptable and excited to help steer our rebrand to Delta in 2026.
