We are looking to hire a full time veterinary receptionist/assistant for our two small animal practices located in Pelham and Fort Erie. Our focus is to provide our clients with exceptional veterinary care, and service in a friendly, comfortable working environment for our employees.

The individual would be a self-motivated, compassionate person with strong work ethic, detail-oriented, organized person with excellent service and communication skills. You would be someone who can work independently as well as be a team player. A person seeking this position would have at least 1 year of experience in the field, must have an understanding of invoicing procedures, ability to multi-task, be knowledgeable of at least basic veterinary hospital protocols and must enjoy interacting with people. Experience with Avimark would be an asset.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting veterinarians and RVTs with pets, communication with clients, care of animals in kennels, vacuuming and mopping floors, laundry and overall cleanliness of the hospital, answering phone calls, and billing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

We offer curbside pickup, masks are supplied by the hospital and worn by all staff members and any client coming into the building and the whole practice is sanitized daily.
