Inventory Coordinator

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join our team. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for supporting Inventory functions for the Operations group. The Coordinator will complete a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that the transactions completed within our ERP system are complete and accurate. This position will also be responsible for some purchasing tasks to support the Operations group and Sr. Buyer.
**Inventory Duties**:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of daily purchased receiving;
- Trouble shoot discrepancies in daily purchased receiving with appropriate purchaser;
- Facilitate the issuing of and timely processing of daily cycle counts;
- Maintain item master dimensions for all inventory to ensure proper organization and smooth and efficient functioning of overall operation;
- Evaluate transactions in order to process inventory movements so as to utilize appropriate GL accounts;
- Review and resolve daily negative inventory;
- Coordinate warranty returns with the appropriate purchaser and determine the proper transaction required;
- Liaise with Stockroom Supervisor regarding issues.
**Production Support Duties**:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of daily receiving of fabricated goods;
- Issue available inventory to open shop orders;
- Identify and resolve shop order variances;
- End shop orders that have been Reported as Finished;
- Maintain accurate list of in process shop orders by issuing quarterly Production Overview reports;
- Review planner daily and print materials as needed.
**Buyer Duties**:
- Complete purchasing transactions;
- Liaise with suppliers and provide lead time and delivery information to Production team;
- Review office supplies and complete regular purchases to support administrative staff.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Technical College Diploma/ University Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field;
- 2-4 years experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics;
- Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dynamics AX, or similar);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail;
- Ability to analyze inventory data and make data-driven decisions;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
**Environment**:
This role is stationed in a manufacturing plant environment. The Plant Manager may be required to work rotating shifts (Opening, Days, Afternoons) although typical working hours are between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Managers are also required to interact with unionized employees, inside sales teams and purchasing to coordinate and facilitate production. Periods of sitting, standing/walking are required.
**What we Offer**:
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $54,000 per year;
