The **Inside Sales & Customer Service**Role plays a key role in supporting the sales team by ensuring our portfolio of brands—Bench Brewing, Henderson Brewing craft beers, and Niagara Cider Company ciders—reaches our customers while meeting sales targets. This role involves managing customer accounts, processing orders, and addressing operational tasks like the Return to Vendor (RTV) process and supporting non-called-on retail stores. It’s ideal for a detail-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

**Part-Time**: 20 hours / week - meeting order deadlines on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Reporting into the Head of Sales

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Customer Engagement and Account Management
- Actively manage customer accounts, including promoting on-time payments, reconciling discrepancies, and keeping payment information accurate and updated.
- Build relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new opportunities in non-called-on retail locations.

2. Order Processing and Coordination
- Accurately process sales orders in internal systems and coordinate timely delivery with the logistics team.
- Prepare and distribute daily sales orders and supporting documents to the distribution team.
- Handle customer service requests for order changes, maintaining updated customer information, and ensuring seamless communication with relevant teams.

3. Return to Vendor (RTV) Process Management
- Proactively manage the Return to Vendor (RTV) process, including coordinating with retail accounts and the logistics team for efficient pickups.
- Address RTV issues promptly, ensuring customers experience mínimal disruption.
- Keep accurate records of RTV activity and provide timely updates to the Sales Manager.

4. Problem Resolution and Support
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve order-related or service issues, including OOS (Out of Stock) situations.
- Act as a primary contact for non-called-on retail stores, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to carry and promote Bench Brewing products.
- Provide backup support to other team members as needed, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team environment.

5. Administrative and Reporting Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, sales activities, and RTV processes.
- Utilize internal systems to analyze order data, create reports, and monitor account performance.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards, policies, and procedures related to customer service, order processing, and RTV management.
Qualifications

Education: Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management.
- Familiarity with the beverage alcohol or CPG industries is an asset.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, order processing systems, and inventory management tools.
