**Job Description**:
In collaboration with the Training and Cabin Standards team, the Specialist, Training Management Systems provides technical leadership and support for Air Transat’s learning management system (LMS), qualification management system (QMS) and other related system resources (ProntoForms, etc.). They ensure the functionality and reliability of these systems including the management of all technical aspects, data integrity, reporting, record-keeping, and control of any documents related to training.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and configure the LMS/QMS and other related systems to meet the training needs of the departments concerned
- Work with team members and stakeholders to configure, populate, maintain, and update all systems related to training management, meeting deadlines and project schedules
- Manage system configuration, training, and end-user reporting
- Maintain and support LMS/QMS integration with other internal systems, as required
- Support system operations, including: account setup, user access and permissions, user and qualification structures, user course enrollment, raising non-compliant files, etc.
- Identify, document, and resolve technical system issues
- Support users and developers in responding to questions and solving problems related to the various systems
- Create and maintain procedures and policies to ensure the security and integrity of systems/networks.
- Analyze and disseminate LMS/QMS data to improve efficiency and training delivery
- Research and propose innovative solutions and opportunities to improve the LMS/QMS
- Collaborate on system improvements and configuration changes based on needs
- Train administrative users of systems on procedures and their accesses
- Any other duties related to training or cabin standards as delegated by the Director, Training and Cabin Standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Technical diploma or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of design practices, adult learning methodologies and assessment tools
- Solid experience in LMS/QMS management, including Pelesys
- Ability to efficiently execute projects within deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous documentation and reporting practices
- Excellent administrative, communication and customer service skills
- Strong technical aptitude, particularly in troubleshooting - ability to identify root causes and resolve technical issues
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement
- Self-starter, resourceful, with strong and reliable work ethic
- Bilingual (French and English) spoken and written
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Forms, etc.)
- Assets - Experience with:

- ProntoForms or other software for form creation
- An aviation maintenance management system such as AMOS
- A crew management software such as AIMS
